Summer on Spiral Ridge!

Spiral Ridge Permaculture Homestead is three years old this year.  Our homestead is still in early succession after the clear cut.  We are in the midst of finishing up some projects and designing new ones.  On the front is more Regenerative Earthworks,  Our House,  a round pole pallet barn, round pole pallet tent platforms, a complete restructuring of our business and website and of course improving our agroforestry systems.  Our new 2013 course calendar is finished.  We are happy to say that we are traveling less, farming more, and hosting courses at our homestead.  Fall plantings start this week, soon we are moving our forest fed pigs into a new area and fixing our failed lower dam.  If you are interested in what it is like to start a homestead on a shoestring budget, how to start a permaculture business, how to build recycled/local structures (aka Funky Rustic Architecture), how to use animals to create food forests or learn what we are up to then sign up for our courses or call and take a tour.  Below is a photo story of what is going on NOW at Spiral Ridge Permaculture Homestead.
